The Heywood Society (Peterhouse)

The Heywood Society is responsible for theatre & film showings in Peterhouse. Film showings are approximately once per fortnight during Full Term, and the society produces one theatrical piece per term. In Michaelmas and Lent terms, these are performed in the newly-renovated Friends of Peterhouse Theatre; our May Week show is staged in the beautiful setting of the Peterhouse Deer Park.

Recent shows have included Euripedes' Iphigenia at Aulis (November 2006), Shakespeare's Merchant of Venice (June 2006), and Boston Marriage, by David Mamet (February 2007). In the past, The Heywood Society has also sponsored external shows, around Cambridge and at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
