makeup
Make-up artists are always in demand! Bright stage
lighting can make facial features virtually disappear so everyone needs some
make-up, even the men. Although many performers are capable of applying basic
make-up, it’s useful to have someone coordinating and creating more complex effects. Make-up artists need to be at each show but rarely need to attend rehearsals, so the job is not too time consuming. It often involves close liaison with the
costume designer with regard to
hair styles and
make-up tones.
