Fabric Printing/Embroidery

Many productions in Cambridge and elsewhere buy in t-shirts, hoodies, or other clothing printed with the show's logo and details, for the cast and crew to wear. Known as "stash" within Cambridge, it serves as easy publicity, as well as making a nice keepsake from the show. Many different website exist that can make up stash orders if provided with the logo and/or text; if you know of one that has been particularly good value, helpful, or otherwise worth other people knowing about, please list it here.

In Cambridge

Talking Tees - A family-run business for over 12 years, Talking Tees is situated right in the town centre, on Bridge Street (near Magdalene College). [www.talkingts.co.uk]

Websites

Acorn Printing - [www.acorn-printing.co.uk]

Xamax [www.xamax.co.uk] - Very competitively priced if you have at least 24 items being ordered (so much so that it's possibly worth increasing your order that high).

Indigo Clothing [www.indigoclothing.com/]
Also good value, particularly if you want single colour designs (as a guide, in 2007 I could get around 60 T-shirts with front & back printing for about £8.50 each).

Shirtworks [www.shirtworks.co.uk] - High quality t-shirt printer with the option of screen printing, digital printing and embroidery. Promotional clothing, corporate gifts and promotional merchandise also available.

Shirtlab [www.shirtlab.co.uk] - Design online promotional garment design service. Shirtlab can screen-print and embroider logos and designs onto t-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, polos, caps and all types of clothing.
