Digital Imaging Centre
This is a shop near Downing. They offered us £79 inc VAT for 150 A3 full colour posters (not full bleed - i.e. the colour does not go to the edge) and another £12 + VAT to remove the white borders. http://www.imagingcentre.co.uk/
TradePrint
Flyers & Posters. http://www.trade-print.co.uk/ or 01279 626666. Reasonable prices and they were able to turn around from artwork to delivery in 5 working days - excellent. Quality is on the whole very good, although there were a very few dud flyers.
alocalprinter.com
http://www.alocalprinter.com/ or 01903 742004. Good prices and, uniquely, ecologically friendly. We got 400 postcards (double sided) for around £70. They arrived quickly and the print quality was excellent. (This was on a digital, not litho press.) Also very helpful on the phone.
Print Carrier
http://www.printcarrier.com/ Prices seem to be close to £100 cheaper for large (20,000) quantities of flyers, with good quality
printing and sensible arrival times. The flyer paper doesn't feel as stiff as I'd have expected, despite choosing 250gsm.
Offsite Digital
http://www.offsitedigital.co.uk Seem generally keen to beat other quotes - so get a few from elsewhere then ring them and you might find they give you a good deal. Not used, however.
