May Week shows
There are always a huge number of shows staged during May Week, in a post-exam flurry of activity. Many of these are outdoor plays, for which any aesthetically pleasing corner of Cambridge may be commandeered. May Week shows are great fun - Shakespeares and light comedies are popular choices - though rehearsals tend to be intensive as soon as exams are over. Of course, this is Cambridge, so we feel compelled to celebrate the end of a hectic period of academic studiousness with an even more hectic week of fun. Morning rehearsals after a May Ball are an experience not to be missed...
