The Fletcher Players Society (Corpus Christi College)

The Fletcher Players Society [www.srcf.ucam.org/fps/] is the drama society of Corpus Christi College. Named after John Fletcher, alumnus of Corpus and Jacobean playwright, our aim is to make theatre as accessible and enjoyable as possible for all members of our college and the university beyond, and to run the Corpus Christi College Playroom [www.camdram.net/infobase/venues/corpus_christi_playroom], a prestigious university venue with a strong reputation for programming exciting and experimental student drama. We also look to fund shows at the ADC, at site specific venues, in May week at at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

The Fletcher Players' current priority is the refurbishment of the Corpus Playroom which is currently in urgent need of renovation. If you are interested in helping with our fundraising campaign either with your time or money please email our funraising manager Amrou Al-Khadi at aa582.

We are proud of being an open and friendly student society whilst also having unique, strong links with the world of professional theatre. Whether you want to write, direct, act, produce or simply be involved in the running of a theatre, the Fletcher Players can offer you the opportunity to get involved in drama. We welcome applications for all genres of drama and visual art.
