| The Heywood Society is responsible for theatre & film showings in Peterhouse. Film showings are approximately once per fortnight during Full Term, and the society produces one theatrical piece per term. In Michaelmas and Lent terms, these are performed in the newly-renovated Friends of Peterhouse Theatre; our May Week show is staged in the beautiful setting of the Peterhouse Deer Park. Recent shows have included Shakespeare's Measure for Measure (June 2007), Freddy Syborn's Flesh Eating Jacobean Zombies (November 2007) and Samuel Beckett's Endgame (March 2008). In the past, The Heywood Society has also sponsored external shows, around Cambridge and at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
