Emma Rice's new company - Wise Children presents...

Wise Children

19:45, Tue 20th November 2018 - Sat 24th November 2018 at Cambridge Arts Theatre
Michaelmas Week 7

In Brixton, Nora and Dora Chance, twins and chorus girls, are celebrating their 70th birthday. We look back over their lives and family history, including their father and greatest actor of his generation Melchior Hazard and his twin brother Peregrine, in a colourful, fun-filled and beautifully told tale.

A big, bawdy tangle of theatrical joy and pain, it is adapted from novelist Angels Carter's book of the same name - expect show girls and Shakespeare, sex and scandal, mischief and mistaken identity, and butterflies by the thousand.

Brimming with singing, dance and live music, as well as a truly heartfelt story - this is a stage show not to be missed.
