    Assistant Producer

    We are looking for someone who is keen to explore the behind-the-scenes of theatrical and operatic production. You will be required to help with venue bookings, logistical organisation and budgeting, as well as assist the publicity manager in planning interviews, articles in both student and non-student newspapers, filming/photography of the show and rehearsals, and other advertising of the production. This is very much an all-round job, and one that brings much satisfaction so we urge you to apply!

    Assistant Director(s)

    We’re looking for fun and enthusiastic assistant directors for The Gondoliers! The Lent Term show is one of the biggest musical theatre events of the year, so the AD role is a great opportunity to learn about directing big budget, ambitious shows. We’re always keen to hear first years and anyone who is new to theatre in Cambridge, so no experience is required. Applicants should answer the following questions:

    Assistant Musical Director

    Seeking a competent pianist who will act as AMD, accompanying and taking rehearsals in MD’s absence, and potentially conducting part of the run. Some ability to assist in orchestral fixing is desirable.

    Publicity Manager

    As Publicity Manager you will be in charge of advertising the show on social media platforms and organising the production of posters and flyers. You will also be planning interviews, press releases, articles, and wider advertisement to the general public and institutions in the area. We are looking for someone with creative ideas and an open mind, so that we can make this a success among both the students of the university and the wider public!
