Iolanthe is a delightful comic opera about chaotic fairies, pompous peers and star-crossed lovers beset with problems of class prejudice and mistaken identity. The Cambridge University Gilbert & Sullivan Society are producing this show in the Fitzpatrick Hall (Queens' College) in week 5 (performances 11th-13th Nov), in collaboration with MagSoc.

The director  would like a choregrapher to help realise a stylized aesthetic, through the use of dance and movement. We are particularly keen to hear from those who are well-versed in classical ballet.

Please apply to Ed (the director ) explaining:

    • Why you want to choreograph the show.
    • What prior experience of dance and/or choreopgraphy you have.
    • Your availability for interview.

Your application needn't be long! Please send all applications to

Please note: If applications come in early, we may interview some applicants before the deadline. Appointments will not be made until all on-time applicants have been interviewed.
