Actors and singers needed for both the Chorus and the individual protagonists.

• Wed 26th Nov, 09:00–16:30, Judith E Wilson drama studio, Faculty of English.
• Thu 27th Nov, 09:00–20:00, Venue to be confirmed
• Fri 28th Nov, 09:00–16:30, Call back auditions. Times and venue to be confirmed.

CAMBRIDGE GREEK PLAY
Euripides’ Ion, performed in Ancient Greek with English surtitles.
Production dates: October 14-17 2026 in the Cambridge Arts Theatre.
Directed by Rosie Parker.

GREEK PLAY AUDITIONS - 26-28th Nov 2025

If you're interested in being part of the Greek Play this year -
This is your chance!
Casting will be at the end of this Michaelmas Term - with a short-intensive rehearsal over Easter,
and full rehearsals and Production Sept - Oct 2026, Cambridge Arts Theatre.
You will receive language and musical coaching in term-time, from our international professional team, including Composer in residence at Kings, Richard Causton, and language experts Profs James Diggle and Anthony Bowen.

AUDITION PROCESS:
Everyone will need to participate in the group movement / rhythm workshop on 26th Nov - sign up for one.

If you are interested in a spoken or sung role, please also sign up for a short solo audition on 27th. For your Solo audition bring a short monologue/aria (4mins max) to be sung, or spoken.
You should also state your availability for potential recall on 28th

No knowledge of ancient Greek is necessary - but we are looking for the commitment and passion suitable for this professional opportunity
