StraightUp Productions is a new theatre company comprising Will Dalrymple, Mark Bittlestone and Will Penswick, focusing primarily on comedy writing. Will Dalrymple and Mark Bittlestone met at Cambridge University, where Mark was a member of the Footlights, while Will Penswick and Mark were at school together where they devised and put on several productions.
StraightUp has several shows coming up. Will Dalrymple's adaptation of 'Tristram Shandy' is playing at the OSO Centre theatre in Barnes from November 7-8, while all three are in a mixed bill stand-up show in Cambridge on 20 November called 'Life Goes On'. StraightUp is also in negotiations to start a monthly comedy night at a venue in South London.
