Eminent conductor Jac van Steen returns to conduct the flagship Cambridge University Orchestra in a production of Mendelssohn's A Midsummer Night's Dream, complete incidental music, with the narrated excerpts of the Shakespeare play performed by Cambridge actors, directed by soprano and theatre director Anne Sutton. The theatrical elements will be interwoven with the music, featuring performances by the upper voices of the Cambidge University Chamber Choir and Schola Cantorum.
