                                                              The Harry Porter Prize is an annual new writing competition for a one-hour comic play, established in memory of the late Dr Harry Porter, the Footlights’ long-time Senior Archivist. Submissions are welcome from all current students of The University of Cambridge and Anglia Ruskin University (this includes incoming freshers). We warmly encourage anyone excited by the prize to apply, regardless of any previous comedy or playwriting experience. The winning entry will be chosen by an external guest judge (past judges have included Emma Sidi, Phil Wang and Alex Horne) and staged in Easter Term with Footlights support and funding.
