We are incredibly excited to be staging our inaugural production in May Week 2026. The Ash Tree reimagines Ovid’s tale of Baucis and Philemon as a promenade folk-play concert about the birth of the Granta river and the day the trees of Newnham Gardens first took root. The story is set on the summer solstice, and will be performed on and around the northern hemisphere solstice.
