The Heywood SocietyHeywood

The Heywood Society is the resident amateur dramatics club at Peterhouse. Heywood is a funding body for theatrical productions in Cambridge, at the Edinburgh Fringe, and beyond. The society also puts on shows in the beautiful 180-seat Friends of Peterhouse Theatre (FOP). We want to fund ambitious, high-quality, inclusive drama.

Recent Heywood productions have included 'Dazzling' (Edinburgh Fringe, August 2023), 'Neighbourhood Watch' (ADC Theatre, March 2024), and 'Summer and Smoke' (ADC Theatre, October 2023).

Feel free to get in touch by sending an email to id399@cam.ac.uk and ao560@cam.ac.uk if you have questions about show funding, theatre at Peterhouse, or Heywood’s involvement in Cambridge theatre more broadly.

Presidents 2025-2026: Izzy Driscoll and Bella Ofo
