The Heywood Society is the resident amateur dramatics club at Peterhouse. Heywood is a funding body for theatrical productions in Cambridge, at the Edinburgh Fringe, and beyond. The society also puts on shows in the beautiful 180-seat Friends of Peterhouse Theatre (FOP). We want to fund ambitious, high-quality, inclusive drama.
Recent Heywood productions have included 'Charley's Aunt' (ADC Theatre, March 2023); 'Absent Friends' (FOP, February 2023); and 'My Mother Said I Never Should' (Corpus Playroom, February 2023).
Feel free to get in touch by sending an email to heywood@pet.cam.ac.uk if you have questions about show funding, theatre at Peterhouse, or Heywood’s involvement in Cambridge theatre more broadly.
