Easter May Week
CUOS Shorts is looking for one or two tenors to be involved in the world premieres of three new chamber operas by student composers.
CUOS Shorts is a rare opportunity for singers to be involved in world premieres of new, fully staged chamber operas by student composers. The three operas being premiered in CUOS Shorts this year are Two women (both alike in dignity) by Marcella Keating; The jackal who pretended to be a peacock by Katrina Toner and Esther: a voice for the voiceless by Mary Offer.
The re-arranged production is going ahead on 21st and 22nd June in the Round Church. COVID restrictions permitting, rehearsals will be approximately once a week for the first half of Easter term, increasing in frequency as the performance approaches.
