Looking For Pre-Recorded Voices to Say Weird Nonsense Words

The play ABRA is looking for pre-recorded voices to feature in a soundscape at the start of the show. A comp, credit and chocolate will be provided in return. This is an open call between now and the end of December 2023. Email jej.rycroft@gmail.com for more deails

The play ABRA is looking for pre-recorded voices to say words and phrases that will feature in a soundscape at the start of the show.

The play is about a constructed language (think Klingon or Esperanto), and we're looking for voices to say any or all of the following nonsense phrases:

• Clan-reth-ne husserl?
• Landaste frul-kerstin caglatadi niklaus
• Abra-ka wers-ne. Clanth. Tek. Smuln.
• Clathnerski! Grutun-kersk! Slan-trath insecnisi!

Feel free to pronounce the words how you like. Shout them, whisper them, sing them. Just try to record the audio in as high quality as you can.

This is an open call between now and the end of December 2023 to receive recordings, which can be emailed straight to Jamie at jej.rycroft@gmail.com
