LITTLE WOMEN AUDITION SLOTS FULL - ACCEPTING SELF-TAPES

All audition slots for Little women are now full but we are accepting self-tapes till midnight on the 3rd of December!

Emma Reeves’ adaption of ‘Little Women’ will be the ADC’s Week Six mainshow in Lent Term and we are looking for a CAST to bring the play to life!

Little Women tells the classic story of the four spirited March sisters growing up in poverty against the backdrop of the American Civil war that looms in the background. Emma Reeves' charming adaptation sensitively illustrates the sisters' path to maturity encompassing the many reversals of fortune in their lives. The romantic, tragic and comic elements are flawlessly captured, successfully creating an emotional journey that tugs at the heartstrings.

Please prepare any of the extracts below. No need to be off book! You’re welcome to have your phone with you, but try to practise a few times in advance, so you are comfortable with the lines.

We encourage as many people as possible to audition! We are casting gender-blind and we are totally open to your interpretations and cannot wait to see what you have to offer!

If you can’t make any of the audition slots, just send a self tape through to em973@cam.ac.uk and ic421@cam.ac.uk by 8pm on Wednesday the 3rd of December! Please provide your name, crsid, chosen extract, and pronouns if you feel comfortable!

We will ask you to perform your chosen extract and then offer you some redirection, ask you about your thoughts on the play and why you wanted to audition, and maybe ask you to read one or two other extracts. No stress! We will be offering recalls for some roles (although not all so if you’re not offered a recall you may still be offered a part!) which will be 11am - 1pm on Friday 5th of December. Please let us know if you are not available at this time.
