HMS Pinafore is looking for a Get-in crew, Lighting Operator and SM!

Want to take part in a low-commitment role with a free dose of Gilbert & Sullivan hilarity? HMS Pinafore is looking for a stage manager  and Lighting Operator!

HMS Pinafore is looking for get-in crew (16th Feb), SMs  and a lighting operator for our show run from 19-21 Feb (with a matinee on 21 Feb). We are ideally looking for people who are available throughout the run, but also happy to have people come on for one or two shows.

The get-in crew will help in bringing our set to life, especially in terms of setting up the pipes and drapes. As we are using a minimal set and no extra lighting rig, we’re not setting up as much as previous years, but some experienced hands with the orchestra pit and setting up drapes would be greatly appreciated - also perhaps help our lighting designer Alex Bevan focus some lights.

We are also looking for an SM  to oversee risk assessments for props/other moving parts. The majority of show paperwork has been done but more experienced hands would be hugely appreciated by the team and the venue.

As for the lighting operator, they will be in charge of operating lighting on cue, and our lighting designer is happy to explain the operation of the rig, so no prior experience is needed!
