    MENFOLK (2026)

Menfolk, the debut feature film from Director Matt Kirkham and Joe Stanhope, is looking for actors and crew.

A gravely injured young man washes up on a desolate stretch of the Northern Irish coast, with no memory of how he got there. Taken in by a guarded young clergyman three weeks away from his own ordination, an intense and dangerous closeness develops between them - until the mystery of the stranger's origins threatens to consume them both, forcing both men to reckon with what they are willing to destroy to survive.

Menfolk, a queer psychological thriller, is a story of the weight of sacrifice, exploring Irish folklore and identity.

We are currently looking for a principal cast. More information about dates, scheduling, and application material coming soon.

Shooting across both Northern Ireland and Cambridge, this is an opportunity to be part of an ambitious student feature film, offering meaningful on-set experience across all departments.

All travel and accommodation for the on-location shoot will be fully covered.

IN ASSOCIATION WITH SILVER STREET PRODUCTIONS AND CHRIS LAU FILMS LTD.
