'DDS Christmas Comedy Night' is running a WRITER'S ROOM!!!

DDS New Writing Officer, Charlotte Payne, will be hosting a Writer 's Room for the 'DDS Christmas Comedy Night'.

In Week 7 Michaelmas Term, from 27th-29th November 2025, DDS is hosting a night of festive entertainment at the Howard Theatre! Downing Dramatic Society will be presenting the DDS Christmas Comedy Night, featuring a series of student-written Christmas comedy pieces, from sketches to stand-up.

DDS New Writing Officer, Charlotte Payne, will be hosting a Writer  's Room, to prepare a series of comedy sketches, at Downing College on:
Tuesday 28th October from 4.30pm-5.30pm.
Thursday 30th October from 7pm-9pm.
Saturday 1st November from 7pm-9pm.
