CREW wanted for a SHORT FILM ('You're Never Alone Here')

CINEMATOGRAPHER (Cameraman/woman) - LIGHT TECHNICIAN - SOUND TECHNICIAN - EDITOR

YOU'RE NEVER ALONE HERE - SHORT FILM to be shot in Cambridge in December/ January 2027

Film Synopsis :
The film follows Eva, a first-year student and her troubled relationship with her phone. As she’s talking to her mum on the phone, we witness an increasingly unnerving disconnect between her words and her actions and the impact this dissonance has on her friendships, her sense of self, and her sanity. Imagine David Lynch doing Truman Show…(but with a slightly smaller budget)

We’re looking for the following roles:

• Cinematographer (Cameraman/woman)

• Light technician

• Sound technician

• Editor

• For cinematography a degree of experience is required however it is totally fine if you’never actually been a cinematographer/dp, (understanding of the basics of camera such as different lenses, shutterspeed, iso, etc. will be sufficient)

• For the light and sound technicians, some experience would be preferable but it’s not mandatory.

• For editing, basic knowledge of Davinci Resolve, Adobe Premium, or similar is sufficient.
