A delicate two-hander, ‘Made of Light’ is an intimate memory play, written in the first person. Saturated with images of adoration and grief, the protagonist recounts the year she turned sixteen, the year her friend takes her own life. She remembers the agony of growing pains, not saying the right thing at the right time and Romeo and Juliet.
With queerness, devotion and infatuation at its core, this play is a celebration of life and death.
