Michaelmas Week 2
East, West. You’ll follow us blindly
Skalagrimson is a hypnotic new folktale rooted in the Icelandic saga tradition, shot through with puppetry, movement, live foley, and music.
Magnus Skalagrimson tries not to hear the work songs his tenants sing as they fell the last trees in freezing valley he owns. At night he is plagued by strange dreams: shadows linger at his door, woven tapestries spring to life, and crows cling to his fingerbones.
