    SCRATCH + INTERNATIONAL THEATRE NIGHT

19:30, Wed 18th March 2026 at Christ's New Court Theatre
    Lent Week 8

SCRATCH + INTERNATIONAL THEATRE NIGHT 🎭🎩!

CADS is organizing an end-of-term Scratch Theatre + International Theatre Night open to all Cambridge students, regardless of writing or acting experience!

This is a Cambridge-exclusive event celebrating student-written and international theatre! You, and your friends, are invited to perform an extract from a play of your choosing by any foreign playwright in its original language, or in English.

Alternatively, you are invited to present a short piece of student new writing (whether in English, or not!). Writers - this is an excellent opporunity to offer a preview on your work!
Actors/Readers - this is a low-commitment, yet fun way to get involved with drama!

    • No formal preparation required, and you are welcome to have the text on stage with you. (Although you are welcome to learn your scene/monologue if you wish!)
    • Performances may last from 1 to 12 min per extract.

Sign up for your performance through the following link: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1NDslCUOyDv9igA0whiHNqofXudI-ci2Gx-ltt1CJUyI/edit?usp=sharing

We hope to see lots of you there! Come as you are, the only place where everyone is truly free in this world is the stage!

Location: Christ's College Yusuf Hamied Theatre (New Court)
    Date: 18 March 2026
    Time: 19:30 - 21:30
