“What are we, if not a persona of our true selves?” was a quote by me whilst thinking of the concept for this show, but was probably already said before by someone a lot smarter than me and with a philosophy degree. However, did said smarter person have the ability to put this concept into the two campiest mediums possible – aka drag and musical theatre? I think not!
Quinn explores their experiences as a nonbinary person, medical student, and drag performer in a lighthearted yet poignant piece of theatre. Plus, they get to sing pretty songs along the way. What’s not to love?
