BRASS PLAYERS NEEDED ASAP for Clare's May Week production of A Midsummer Night's Dream!

BRASS MUSICIANS NEEDED to be heralds and play fanfares for the play! Bring the magic of music to our little dream... Fairies. Lovers. Betrayal. Hermia wants Lysander, Demetrius wants Hermia, Helena wants Demetrius. It’s complicated. Our Dream is bursting full of life, staged around the iconic pond of Clare’s sunken garden, Athens lures the audience into our tale as we watch Theseus and Hippolyta (the Proper English Couple™) squabbling at a garden party, the fairyland emerges as the typical British garden party loses its frigid restraint and gets closer to a punky festival setting. The play questions - what happens when we let our protective propriety slip away? The themes at the core of the play are those of transformation, duality, and the fickle winds of fate which blow our lives into shape.

We need trumpets, French horns, euphoniums, bugles, and other brass instruments to be heralds in moments of Clare's May Week '25 production of A Midsummer Night's Dream.
