Death and dying

“May the saints protect us from the gifted amateur!!” Dial M for Murder is looking for five fabulous actors to bring this classic stage thriller to the ADC stage.

• Tue 24th Jun, 11:00–18:00, ADC Bar
• Wed 25th Jun, 11:00–18:00, ADC Bar

Marrying for money often doesn’t go to plan. It certainly hasn’t for faded tennis star Tony Wendice as he believes his wife will ultimately divorce him for her on-off lover, a charming crime writer. For Tony loosing his wife would be catastrophic, not because he loves her but her fortune. He consequently orchestrates a devious plot to have her killed. On paper it’s the perfect murder.

Our production’s vision intends to work with our cast to merge cinematic and theatrical conventions onstage to evoke a nostalgic Old Hollywood and ‘colour noir’ atmosphere in the ADC whilst addressing the timeless themes of this domestic thriller.

Auditions are taking place 11-6pm at the ADC Bar on Tuesday the 24th and Wednesday 25th
