The Pembroke Players are looking for pitches for our Michaelmas term! Apply now!

We’re the Pembroke Players, and are very excited to see your pitches for next term!

Our ethos: As a society, we are focused on inclusion in the broadest sense! We encourage applications from people new to Cambridge Theatre and who would just like to try something out for the first time. Pembroke Players is committed to ensuring that our show process provides a safe and supported space for people who may not feel comfortable with Cambridge student theatre. We also have a commitment to student writing and getting new works onto the stage, even if they’re in the trial stage. This year, we are particularly focused on ensuring that BME creatives are involved with every aspect of our productions. We have a BME Artistic Director on the new committee and this will be a focus of our outreach this year. If you are BME, new to Cambridge Theatre or to writing, disabled, neurodivergent, LGBTQ+... please apply!

If we have further questions about your application, we may invite you to a 10-minute online interview slot to discuss your pitch. However, if you don’t get an interview, this does not mean you are not in consideration!
