MICHAELMAS PITCHING SLOT OPEN FOR DOWNING DRAMATIC SOCIETY!!!

DDS is excited to announce that it is open to pitches for week 5 Michaelmas Term (13th-15th November). We are very open to ideas and varying genres and forms (including student-written pieces), although we would ideally like the production to last at least an hour or so.

We would like to hear from people who have a strong sense of what the production will look like and can work with a shorter rehearsal period, given that we are about to enter week 2. We are open to receiving pitches for plays and ideally these must not have performance/licensing rights due to the quick turnaround, and encourage new pieces of work to stage.

The dates for the week 5 Michaelmas slot are as follows: evening performances on the 13th, 14th, & 15th of November. We will be accepting pitches for productions that can be staged for at least two nights from the above dates.

Please attach a word document answering the questions in the pitching pack below by 23:59 on Wednesday 22nd of October and we will then be in touch with you shortly after to arrange a discussion about your pitch. Please note that you must be a current student that studies in Cambridge, to pitch to us.
