MEDEA is looking for Technical Directors! (DEADLINE FRIDAY)

BAME technician in Cambridge? Medea is looking for Technical Directors  to work alongside our designers and create this ambitious, bold retelling of the iconic tragedy. Apply now - deadline Friday!

Come join a brilliant team as Technical Director , and shape this large-scale show!

This show will be working at a level of technical ambition that is unusual for an ADC show. With lots of time to work on the set and technical demands, you'll be responsible for scheduling and organising the designer and constructors. You'll need to develop an awareness of ADC standards and requirements, as well as their paperwork. Responsibilities include:

Working with the set designer to create a pragmatic design
Filling out ADC Paperwork
Assisting and overseeing set construction
Planning the Get-In and Get-Out and acting as Technical Representative

Since Medea centres the voices of BAME (Black, Asian and Minority Etnic) individuals, these roles are reserved for students who identify as non-white or in a minority ethnic group. Further roles will be open to anyone interested in the show - but we feel that the show must be led by BAME creatives.
