BAME technician in Cambridge? Medea is looking for a Composer/Musical Director to work alongside our director and create this ambitious, bold retelling of the iconic tragedy. Apply now - deadline Friday!

ADC Easter Term Week 1 Medea is looking for a composer/musical director! This bold retelling of the Greek tragedy is set to be a true labour of love, with a focus on BAME voices, and plenty of time to build an immense show. If you'd like to be involved in shaping the show, creating original music and leading a band that is at the heart of the work.

You can view application packs on our website: https://medea.cam, and then apply at https://medea.cam/apply! If you have any questions, email Dhyan, writer/director: dr647@cam.ac.uk

Since Medea centres the voices of BAME (Black, Asian and Minority Etnic) individuals, these roles are reserved for students who identify as non-white or in a minority ethnic group. Further roles will be open to anyone interested in the show - but we feel that the show must be led by BAME creatives.

Deadline: 28 November, but let us know if you need an extension. We cannot wait to work with you on this - come make a tragedy!

Contact dr647@cam.ac.uk before 28th Nov 2025 00:00 for more details.
