Audition for 'Magic Buttons,' a scene by Sarah Elizabeth Mintz, at the DDS Festival of New Writing!

We're looking for two actors to play Kate and Ethan in this exciting scene, written by Sarah Elizabeth Mintz and directed by Dhyan Ruparel.

Kate and Ethan convene outside of a crowded Manhattan movie theatre to discuss dinosaurs, rhinestones, and the nature of their May-December romance.

If you are interested in auditioning for either Kate or Ethan please contact Dhyan Ruparel at dr647@cam.ac.uk. He will provide you with some simple directions and a short scene of dialogue with which to prepare a self-tape. Please don’t be intimidated by the short scene or the tape. Tape with a friend or alone! Have fun!! We want to see your take on these characters. Dhyan can also answer any questions you might have about the rehearsal process and time commitment etc. DON’T WORRY IF YOU’VE NEVER ACTED BEFORE! Send an audition if this play excites you 🙂

Please send tapes by Monday February 23rd latest. The tapes will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
