Actor/writer wanted for A NICE NORMAL COMEDY SHOW (UNAUTHORISED EVIL TWIN REMIX)

Comedy writer/actor needed for the experimental/eccentric May Week Playroom lateshow, to play the role of my male alter ego/evil twin, Evil Maysa Brice, for a mix of stand-up and improv. I’m looking for a character actor who can commit to a bit, and someone with (even minimal) experience in comedy writing and acting. Improv experience is not necessary. A NICE NORMAL COMEDY SHOW (UNAUTHORISED EVIL TWIN REMIX) is an eccentric, experimental comedy show in which I, Maysa Brice, am attempting to perform 90 minutes of stand-up comedy, in hopes I’ll be the first person with a stammer to do so in Cambridge. The problem? I have an evil twin, aptly named Evil Maysa Brice, who’s the male me, a manifestation of all of my bitterness and the privilege I wish I had. He cannot believe I didn’t invite him to be part of this show, so he’s desperate to crash it and take part come hell or high water.

A key part of what makes this show so eccentric is the sexual tension between me and Evil Maysa Brice but at no point will this involve scenes of simulated sex, masturbation, or me being at all nude - due to my own boundaries. I will be recruiting an intimacy coordinator, who will be a key part of this show’s rehearsal process, and am happy to work with your boundaries.

This role will be an actor/writer role, with me being the other writer.
