LIKE RABBITS (ADC Main, Easter Week 3) is looking for a TECHNICAL DIRECTOR

'Like Rabbits' is looking for a technical director  to bring this brand-new play to life!

Following a sold-out staged reading of Act One this term, Like Rabbits is coming to the ADC and we're looking for a technical director  to bring it to life!

We are accepting applications on a rolling basis. Send your application when you are able and we will consider it straight away.

“Sorry, my good man, I must have misheard you – I thought you said a rabbit –“
“Not a rabbit. Rabbits. Plural.”
“…Pardon?”

In 1726, a young woman from Surrey called Mary Toft becomes an overnight celebrity when the astonishing news breaks that she has given birth to a litter of rabbits. It’s not true, obviously – but when everyone believes that it is, including the King and his most senior doctors, the lie becomes harder and harder to keep up. As she finds herself at the centre of a courtly power struggle and, eventually, a national scandal, Mary begins to wonder if she can ever return to a life of obscurity again.

A new play by the current Peter Shaffer Playwright-in-Residence at Trinity College, Imogen Usherwood, Like Rabbits is the funny but thought-provoking true story of a young woman who royally deceived the whole of England – and of those who paid the price.

We are currently looking for a TECHNICAL DIRECTOR . This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the first-ever performance of this lively, entertaining, exciting new play.
