The time has come for you to apply to be a part of the Pembroke Players, the resident theatrical society of Pembroke College since 1955! Since then, we’ve boasted a rather strong theatrical set of alumnae, including the playwright and satirist Clive James, Joe Thomas off the Inbetweeners, Eric Idle from Monty Python, Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss (the dream-team behind Six the Musical), and, of course, some lesser known names, like Emma Corrin or Tom Hiddleston.

We are a student-led society with a focus on inclusion and experimental theatre, and we are proud to put on a variety of shows every term in our very own New Cellars, as well as funding plenty of shows in the Corpus Playroom, the ADC, and beyond! Join us now!

We encourage all student to apply for all roles, regardless of experience! You also do not have to be a student at Pembroke College to apply! However, please note that at least one of our presidents must be an undergraduate at Pembroke College, and the Artistic Director role is reserved for BAME applicants only. This is to ensure that BAME voices are more heavily weighted in the future artistic direction of the society and its impact. We would also like to encourage all BAME applicants to also apply for other roles on the committee as well.

We are recruiting on a rolling basis throughout the first half of Easter term, so get your application to us as soon as you can!
