Cox and Box: self-tape auditions open

Casting Cox, Box and Bouncer for Cox and Box (or The Long-Lost Brothers), a 30-minute Gilbert and Sullivan operetta at St Giles' Church on 20 and 22 November. Casting is gender blind and pitch blind. Self-tape auditions, deadline Sunday 8 November, 5pm.

The Gilbert and Sullivan Society is planning a Gilbert and Sullivan double bill this November, and we are casting Cox and Box (or The Long-Lost Brothers) first. It will be performed at St Giles' Church at 7:30pm on Friday 20th and Sunday 22nd November, and runs for about 30 minutes. We are casting Cox, Box and Bouncer.

Casting is gender blind and pitch blind, so please apply whatever your voice type. Auditions are by self-tape: one of you singing anything you like, and one of the short dialogue extract in the audition pack. Existing recordings from other shows are welcome. We know the timescale is short, so rehearsals will be scheduled around everyone's availability.

Deadline: Sunday 8th November, 5pm, but we might close applications on Friday 6th November if we fill the roles.
