Our Town is a (20-30min) documentary about mental health and community in Cambridge. In light of the recent tragedies that the university’s community has faced, I hope to shine a light on the spaces available to people who are in need of help, but I also want to give an honest view of how real the struggling is. The university are absolutely complicit in creating a culture that comfortably discards proper self care for the sake of academic excellence and there are thousands of students with stories and experiences that need to be shared. This is a project very close to my heart and I really hope to give voice to my own story as well as many others
