    'As You Like It', the Clare May Week Play 2026, follows Rosalind - a genderqueer/female theatrical director and writer - after her Uncle Ferdinand usurps her father's Artistic Director position in their theatre. What follows is an escape to Arden, the forest of arts, a non-conforming theatrical space where Rosalind is able to claim her place as a theatremaker and centres her own experiences as director and manipulator among the backdrop of love stories she directs, including her own love story with wannabe actor Orlando.
