Alice Birch's [BLANK], created in collaboration with CleanBreak, is a collection of 100 scenes based on verbatim interviews with women who have been affected by the criminal justice system. This unique production poses a challenge to theatre makers: devise a performance from Birch's scenes - the storyline, order of scenes and characters are entirely up for interpretation. BATS' [BLANK] will be created, directed and acted by an all female and non-binary company, resulting in three shows where each performance explores a different outcome.
