Liam is sick. Matthew is sick of him. Dying of AIDs, trapped in a run-down flat in Belfast, Liam relies on Matthew, who is his boyfriend and his carer, for everything. But even death can’t make Liam an angel. He is immature, rude, and completely terrified. He swears, steals, begs, bickers. Refusing to be vulnerable, he makes everything into a joke. Matthew, meanwhile, finds his patience wearing thin. But what sets him over the edge is the idea of losing the only person who has ever loved him.
