Michaelmas Week 7
Told between two timelines in the 1890s and present day, Arabella and Nellie are preparing to enter British society with their debuts, but struggle to adapt to a new life of balls and proposals, whilst fighting developing feelings for each other. Their story is told through a diary, found by a struggling writer who has just discovered she is sharing a room with an old nemesis.
