The Pembroke Players Week 4 Main Show, Pussycat Venus, is looking for a cast!

This play is a romantic comedy, an improbable and complicated story containing love, with the relationship between two pop stars Pussycat Venus and Selena Cross at its heart.

If you also have a complicated love affair with the sixties, or an attachment to modern pop, this is the play for you! Anybody can and should apply

It is also an ode to the often forgotten heroines of counter/culture: Buffy Sainte-Marie, Vashti Bunyan, Judee Sill, Joan Baez, Marianne Faithfull, Janis Ian, Gaye Advert, Cosey Fanni Tutti, Kathleen Hanna, Petula Clark, Melanie, Marlene Marder, Elisabeth Welch, Assata Shakur, Martina Topley-Bird, Linda Perhacs, Liz Phair, Cassandra, Monique Wittig, Valerie Solanas.
