LITTLE WOMEN is looking for Get-In Helpers

Emma Reeves' adaptation of Little Women will be the ADC's Week Six mainshow in Lent Term. We are looking for Get-In Helpers to help bring this new production of a beloved tale to life.

“I've had a lot of troubles, so I write jolly tales.” - Louisa May Alcott.

Is art a way for us to conjure back what has been lost? Emma Reeves' adaptation of Louisa May Alcott's 150-year-old story of family, growing up and survival brings this question into focus. It is a question that Alcott grapples with in her semi-autobiographical novel, written in the wake of her sister's death. In writing about a family based on her own, Alcott brought back to life her memories of her sister, their childhood, a time when dreams would become realities, all that had been lost.

Little Women will be the ADC's Week Six mainshow in Lent Term. We are looking for Get-In Helpers to help bring this new production of a beloved tale to life.

The get-in is one of the most important parts of the process, the day where the world of the show physically comes together on stage. We’ll be installing key set elements including a raised metro deck, central staircase, flown backs and detailed proscenium work, alongside supporting technical elements. Whether you have lots of experience in technical theatre or none at all, we would absolutely love your help.
