Shadwell Soc Showcase opens production roles

The Shadwell Society is producing a all-new Showcase of new theatre writing! We need YOU to come aboard as Assistant Producers  and/or Script Editors  to help with the running of this thing...

The showcase will be on Friday 18th June 2026 in The Bateman Auditorium, Gonville & Caius College, an underutilised but brilliant venue in Cambridge!

Our group of writers are currently working towards the Easter showcase to create a program of exciting short extracts to present to our audience.

We need Assistant Producers  to help with the organisation and promotion of the showcase - everything from programming the writers' extracts to creating content for instagram to acting as an important point of contact for welfare concerns (and so much more!)

Additionally, we are looking for Script Editors  to, first, provide feedback on draft scripts we have coming in from our writers, and then help as much as possible to develop these scripts into performance-ready extracts!
