Auditions are open for Machinal and Trifles: two plays, one set, two casts

Machinal by Sophie Treadwell, and Trifles by Susan Glaspell, are coming to the Corpus Playroom as a punchy double bill! And we need YOU to be in the cast! Auditions will be happening Friday-Sunday, with self tapes very much available!

Helen is Helen is Helen is not Helen. And Mrs Hale- well, she is hardly here, anyway…

As a double bill, both shows provide lower-commitment opportunities to present iconic characters in fast paced feminist thriller-dramas, as well as great avenues for experimentation. I can’t wait to explore how the narratives feed off of eachother and clash to create a greater whole.

I appreciate auditions have opened late, so self tapes are very welcome until Wednesday 25th, with extensions very available – see the packs for more details!

Auditions will be happening:

• 12pm-2pm, Friday 20th March, Queens’ College Green Room
• 12pm-3pm, Saturday 21st March, Queens’ College Green Room
• 12pm-2pm, Sunday 22nd March, Queens’ College Green Room

Self tape deadline is 11:59pm Wednesday 25th, with hearty self-tapes available upon request!
