DIRECTORS needed for CUADC'S AN EVENING OF VANBRUGH! Special Day Trip - 20th June
Come and celebrate the 300th anniversary of playwright and architect Sir John Vanbrugh, at the Grimsthorpe Castle site he built himself. No experience required, and flexible rehearsals - fun opportunity for experts or first-time directors !
England's oldest student theatre company, CUADC, is delighted to celebrate the 300 year anniversary of playwright and architect John Vanbrugh with a medley of his greatest scenes. The evening will be performed at Grimsthorpe Castle, designed by Vanbrugh himself in his last masterpiece. We need DIRECTORS who will prepare scenes in Easter Term, and then travel to the castle with us on 20th June! You’ll be directing highlights from across Vanbrugh's work, alongside newly-written responses commissioned especially for this performance. It’s set to be a beautiful summer’s evening, and we’d love you to be involved.
N.B. All travel costs are kindly paid for by Grimsthorpe, so no fees are involved in this trip!
