CIRCLE MIRROR TRANSFORMATION needs actors!!

When four strangers enrolled in Marty’s six-week-long community-centre drama class begin to experiment with harmless games, hearts are quietly torn apart and tiny wars of epic proportions are waged and won. CIRCLE MIRROR TRANSFORMATION is a one-act play with a cast of six. In Annie Baker’s signature naturalistic style, each character is vivid and specific, and the play is funny without making caricatures out of them.

I am conscious that it is exam term, and that people have a lot of work. Fortunately, this will be a simple show to stage and rehearse. The play is structured as a series of drama exercises carried out by the characters, interspersed with other scenes - there are lots of silences, and many lines are extremely short, so will be quite easy to learn compared to a lot of other shows. Lines are spread relatively evenly across the six characters.
