Iolanthe is reopening for an Assistant Costume Designer

Due to a change in availability we are reopening for an assistant costume designer  to join us in Cornwall!

The assistant costume designer  will work as part of the costume team with Ellie and Helen, playing with a big budget (think ~£1000) in order to dress our ensemble of ~20 people, and get to be a lot more involved in the process than most Costume Designers  in Cambridge. It’s a challenging but exciting role for anyone interested in costumes, hair and makeup. It will also involve working closely with the Director and Costume Leads to develop the designs, plan, and source the costumes. In Cornwall, you will assist in bringing the costumes together and doing fittings with the cast, whilst also having the opportunity to make anything specific that is needed. We’re particularly encouraging applicants with experience in (or enthusiasm for) hair and makeup, to help us design and create the looks for the cast before performances.
